5th Latin American SDEWES conference was held from 18 - 21 January 2026 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia and it has brought together 130 scientists, researchers and experts in the field of sustainable development from 32 countries and six continents, out of which 100 attended onsite and 30 online.
We listened to 108 oral presentations. There were 19 regular and 1 special session plus three keynote plenary lectures and a panel given by some of the most distinguished experts in the field.
We hope you were as happy as we were as we again had the chance to meet, mingle and share new ideas in person.
